Hand-Made Items: Because each item is handcrafted, slight variations in color, grain pattern, size, and finish are expected. These are not defects but are the unique characteristics of a handmade, one-of-a-kind product.
Natural Materials: Wood is a natural material. Changes in temperature and humidity may cause natural movement such as slight warping or checking. We are not responsible for damage resulting from environmental conditions after the item has been delivered.
Laser Engraved Products: Laser engraving permanently alters or removes the surface layer of a substrate (such as wood, coated metal, or glass). Slight tonal variations in the finish or exposed metal/grain are a normal result of the laser process.
Pet-Friendly Shop Notice: Please be advised that our items are handcrafted in a home environment that includes dogs. While we take great care in cleaning and packaging our products, they may come into contact with pet dander. If you have severe pet allergies, please take this into consideration before purchasing.
Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Do not place hot pans or extreme cold directly on the wood surface.
Hand Wash Only: Never place your wood product in the dishwasher. The intense heat and water pressure will cause the wood to warp, crack, or split.
Gentle Cleaning: Clean your piece using warm water, a mild dish soap, and a soft sponge.
No Soaking: Never submerge your wood product in a sink of water or let it soak.
Dry Immediately: After washing, immediately wipe the tray dry with a clean cloth. Allow it to air-dry completely on its edge to ensure proper airflow on all sides.
Regular Oiling: Wood is a natural, porous material that needs hydration. If your piece starts to look dull or feels dry, it’s time to re-oil. We recommend applying a high-quality, food-safe mineral oil or a specialized wood butter at least once a month and immediately after washing and drying. Apply a light, even coat of oil to the wood using a clean, lint-free cloth. Allow the wood to absorb the oil for a few hours (or overnight), then wipe off any excess with a clean, dry cloth.
Powder-Coated & Stainless Tumblers
Hand Wash Recommended: To preserve the integrity of the vacuum seal, outer powder coating, and sharp detail of the laser engraving, hand washing with mild dish soap and a non-abrasive sponge is strongly recommended.
No Dishwashers or Microwaves: High dishwasher heat can weaken the vacuum insulation seal over time. Stainless steel items must never be placed in a microwave.
Avoid Abrasives: Do not use bleach, chlorine, harsh chemicals, or steel wool pads, as these will scratch the finish and dull the engraved metal.
Glassware
Dishwasher Safe (Top Rack): Most laser-engraved glass products are top-rack dishwasher safe, as the engraving is a permanent mark etched directly into the glass.
Prevent Thermal Shock: Avoid sudden extreme temperature shifts (e.g., pouring boiling liquids directly into cold glass, or putting hot glass into ice water), as this can cause glass to crack or shatter.
Non-Abrasive Cleaning: Avoid harsh scouring pads on the outer design to keep the frosted look of the laser engraving crisp.
